Position Purpose:
The Sr. Manager of Learning Delivery (SMLD) leads and develops the Delivery Team and is accountable for the successful execution of in-person and virtual instructor-led learning initiatives across the enterprise. The SMLD partners with Learning Strategy,Learning Development, and Learning Execution teams to improve and maintain learning programs and enhance the associate learning experience. The SMLD participates in the planning and review process of pilots to assist in scheduling, assessing effectiveness, and coordinating the delivery plans for supporting materials. The SMLD is responsible for the daily roles and routines of the Delivery Team, which includes responsibility for field and SSC training programs. The SMLD is expected to be a forward-thinking leader who actively explores and integrates emerging technologies - including AI and other innovative tools - to continuously elevate the quality, efficiency, and impact of learning delivery. This role requires a solution-oriented mindset; the ideal candidate approaches challenges as opportunities to improve processes, enhance the learner experience, and drive meaningful outcomes for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
10% Delivery of Content: Improve and oversee the quality of instructors. Respond to adhoc requests for delivery support.
65% Project Management: Manage creation, implementation and execution of program initiatives.
25% Curriculum: Create and maintain relevant and accurate content and delivery support for field and SSC associates in partnership with Learning Strategy Managers to ensure we are teaching the right classes to the right audience at the right time and in the right way.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
Typically reports to Director of Learning Delivery
Direct and indirect reports typically include 10-15 managers/supervisors and professionals

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory/Management experience and three to five years of learning experience is preferred
Supervisory/Management experience with THD Supply Chain or Logistics
Demonstrated ability to leverage emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation, digital learning platforms) to improve learning delivery, streamline operations, or enhance the associate experience
Proven track record of solution-oriented thinking - identifying opportunities within challenges and driving creative, practical solutions that align with business objectives
An open-minded mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo and champion continuous improvement in learning practices and delivery methods
