The Senior Human Resources Manager for the Building Construction Products Division provides end-to-end HR leadership for a global organization, partnering with leaders at all levels to deliver people strategies aligned to business objectives specifically supporting our Customer Solutions and Commercial Excellence group as well as Engineering organization.

This role provides leadership across core HR disciplines including employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. The position requires strong consulting capability, data‑driven decision making, and the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.

The Building Construction division is responsible for the design, manufacturing, marketing and support of Caterpillar's line of small, versatile construction machines and attachments for the commercial construction, residential construction, specialty trades, landscaping and agriculture industries. Products include small wheel loaders, compact wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, compact track loaders, mini hydraulic excavators, skid steer loaders, telehandlers and small track-type tractors.

What You Will Do:

• Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
• Aligning HR policies and programs for their business unit or region which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
• Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborating with senior management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
• Leading team of HR professionals to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.
• Developing and implementing change management methods and materials to facilitate deployment of HR programs and processes within a specific organization.

What You Will Have:

• Education: Degree or equivalent experience desired
• Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
• Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
• Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
• Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
• Human Resources Consulting: Knowledge of HR approaches, tools and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives.
• Talent Management : Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

• This role requires 5 days a week in office

Summary Pay Range:

$159,120.00 - $238,680.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
