Senior Manager, GRC Engineering Remote | US EST or PST We help companies scale securely by designing and implementing modern security and compliance programs. The Opportunity We’re seeking a Senior Manager, GRC Engineering to lead high-impact client engagements while delivering a best-in-class client experience. This role is ideal for a client-facing GRC leader who combines deep compliance expertise with strong relationship management skills. You will act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, own strategic accounts end-to-end, and lead a team responsible for delivering high-quality compliance programs. You’ll be expected to ramp quickly and begin owning client engagements within your first few weeks. Key Responsibilities Client Leadership (Primary Focus) Own executive-level client relationships across a portfolio of strategic accounts Lead compliance engagements end-to-end (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) Serve as a trusted advisor, aligning compliance strategies with client business goals Manage high-level escalations with professionalism and urgency Ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience across all touchpoints Proactively engage clients via meetings, calls, and written communication Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of GRC professionals Drive resource planning, staffing, and team scalability Establish and enforce quality standards across all deliverables Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement GRC & Compliance Execution Oversee multiple compliance programs simultaneously Develop and implement security policies, controls, and procedures Interpret and apply frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST, and CMMC Partner cross-functionally to identify and mitigate risk Ensure timely, audit-ready delivery across all engagements Qualifications Required 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to manage executive-level client relationships and escalations Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a high level of professionalism Experience building and implementing security policies and compliance programs Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Experience working in a technology or cybersecurity-focused organization Comfortable in a high-growth, startup environment Preferred Background in consulting or advisory (Big 4: Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) Experience in managed security services or GRC consulting environments Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer Familiarity with tools like Vanta, Drata, or Secureframe What We Offer Competitive compensation + performance-based bonuses Clear growth path in a rapidly scaling company Ongoing training and development in security and compliance Fully remote, global team environment High-impact role with direct client visibility
