This position is ideal for senior-level network engineering leaders to join the Global Infrastructure and Network team as a Senior Manager, Global Network Operations, delivery, and continuous improvement of global network services across enterprise, cloud, and manufacturing environments.
Partnering with cross-functional teams including Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure, you will ensure secure, reliable, and scalable network operations while driving the transformation from traditional network support to a modern, automated, and platform-driven organization. This role is critical in enabling business continuity, cloud transformation, and Zero Trust security strategy at global scale.
Role expectations
• Lead 24x7 global network operations across multiple regions, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and cloud connectivity services.
• Own and drive operational KPIs (uptime, latency, packet loss, incident response, MTTR) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead implementation and operations of Zero Trust network architecture, including identity-based segmentation, NAC, and firewall policy management.
• Operate hybrid cloud networking across on-prem and cloud environments (Azure and AWS), routing, private endpoints, and DNS.
• Ensure resilient connectivity leveraging SD-WAN, VPN, and private interconnects.
• Drive adoption of network automation and API-driven operations; evolve capabilities toward Network as a Service (NaaS) and integrate provisioning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish observability frameworks (metrics, logs, traces) and lead ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Drive proactive operations through analytics and AIOps capabilities; lead root cause analysis and implement systemic improvements.
• Manage network capacity planning, performance optimization, and resilience testing, including failover validation.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to support business initiatives such as cloud migration and digital transformation.
• Provide technical leadership in architecture reviews and strategic initiatives.
• Lead and develop a global team of network engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, automation, and continuous improvement.
