As a Senior Manager, Business Strategy & Planning supporting the Vision Care Franchise Leadership Team, you will be trusted to drive analytics-led strategy, portfolio planning, and data-driven decision-making, partnering closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align strategic initiatives, commercial priorities, and growth objectives onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.
In this role, you will act as a trusted strategic advisor, leveraging advanced Excel-based modeling, financial forecasting, market analysis, and business case development, combined with executive-level storytelling and data visualization, to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will take end-to-end ownership of high-impact workstreams, applying structured problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills to elevate the quality, clarity, and speed of decision-making, including delivering leadership-ready insights, go-to-market strategies, competitive intelligence, and Board-level materials.
In this role, a typical day will include:
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs.
Assoc.+11 yrs.; M.S.+4 yrs.; PhD+3 yrs.)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
7 Years of Relevant Experience
Demonstrated experience delivering analytics-driven decision support, with a strong focus on financial modeling, forecasting, and business case analysis.
Proven ability to support strategic decision-making and drive outcomes within cross-functional environments.
Advanced Excel skills with proven ability to build robust models (forecasting, scenarios, sensitivities, valuation logic as needed)
Strong PowerPoint skills and executive communication capability, including the ability to synthesize into clear, decision-oriented storylines.
Structured problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to form a clear point of view supported by evidence.
Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority; sound judgment and discretion.
Familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
