Our client seeks a Senior Manager, Business Intelligence to lead the strategy and delivery of enterprise analytics using Snowflake, modern BI platforms, and AI-driven insights. The role manages a BI team, partners with cross-functional leaders, and ensures scalable, governed, and trusted data products. The leader will advance metric consistency, self-service adoption, and integration of predictive and diagnostic analytics to inform executive decision-making.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Salary: $147,500 - $180,125/ yr. w2

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI analysts and developers.
  • Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with enterprise data and AI strategy.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by translating business needs into analytics solutions.
  • Establish best practices for BI development, data governance, and analytics delivery.
  • Oversee design and optimization of data models in Snowflake, including fact, dimension, and semantic layers.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure reliable pipelines, data quality, and performance optimization.
  • Manage Snowflake cost, performance, and scalability, including warehouse sizing and query optimization.
  • Promote reusable and scalable data assets across the enterprise.
  • Deliver executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and self-service analytics using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Ensure consistent metric definitions and a single source of truth.
  • Drive self-service adoption with strong governance and data integrity.
  • Advance analytics maturity from descriptive to diagnostic and predictive insights.
  • Integrate AI and machine learning insights into BI products such as forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive KPIs.
  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering to surface model outputs in dashboards and decision-support tools.
  • Leverage Snowflake-native and modern AI platforms to accelerate insight delivery.
  • Champion responsible AI practices, explainability, and ethical data use.
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering stakeholders.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Prioritize BI initiatives based on business impact and goals.

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years in business intelligence, analytics, or data roles.
  • 5+ years of people management or technical leadership experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse.
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise BI solutions using modern visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Experience or working knowledge of agentic AI applications.
  • Proven ability to communicate insights to executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML outputs into BI dashboards and workflows (preferred).
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics, forecasting, or anomaly detection use cases (preferred).
  • Experience with dbt, Airflow, or modern data transformation and orchestration tools (preferred).
  • Knowledge of data governance, data catalogs, and metric layer frameworks (preferred).
  • Background with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
  • Experience supporting analytics in a fast-growing or highly matrixed organization (preferred).

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
