Your Opportunity
At Schwab, you're empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the finance industry together. We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).
The Transformation Management Office (TMO) plays a critical role in accelerating large, cross-enterprise transformations that drive meaningful business and client outcomes. As a Senior Manager of AI Transformation, you will help shape how Schwab brings AI capabilities to life-balancing speed, scale, and quality across a complex ecosystem of vendors, partners, and internal teams. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and change, helping to translate cross-enterprise AI priorities into tangible outcomes that deliver measurable value.
You will partner closely with corporate strategy, business, technology, and product leaders to align AI initiatives with firm-wide goals, ensuring efforts are outcome-focused and integrated into how teams work-not deployed as standalone capabilities. Your work will span shaping AI strategies, activating transformation roadmaps, and guiding programs from early-stage exploration through implementation and operational handoff. You will play a key role in driving clarity across evolving priorities, facilitating collaboration across distributed teams, and maintaining momentum toward enterprise-wide adoption.
Success in this role requires strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to break down complex challenges, prioritize effectively, and adapt plans in real time. You will help establish and sustain feedback loops that surface learnings, track progress, and refine approaches as AI capabilities scale. A strong focus on measurement will ensure initiatives are tied directly to business and customer outcomes, supported by meaningful metrics that balance precision with forward progress.
You will also champion change management and readiness efforts, helping teams navigate the transition from fragmented AI exploration to a more coordinated, scalable approach. This includes supporting education, process optimization, and stakeholder alignment, while fostering engagement and shared ownership across teams. As a facilitator and relationship builder, you will bring diverse stakeholders together, enabling productive dialogue, driving alignment, and influencing without direct authority.
In addition to leading transformation efforts, you will contribute to the broader TMO mission by strengthening transformation practices, supporting cross-initiative coordination, and helping build a culture grounded in collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement. Your ability to quickly mobilize teams, maintain focus in ambiguity, and deliver outcomes with a bias for action will be key to advancing Schwab's AI journey.
