Senior Maintenance Technician - Youngstown, Ohio - JOB 25-01651
Pay Range: $36.00 - $40.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits
Growing Youngstown, Ohio area Manufacturing Company seeks experienced Senior Maintenance Technician who can perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical production machinery including the plant facilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School, GED, Technical School, Trade School, Industrial Maintenance Training with Diploma and or Certificate and / or Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, or engineering disciplines are preferred.
- Preferred Candidates would have a minimum of (10) years of hands-on experience as a precision machinery maintenance repair and installation technician along with a minimum of (10) years of hands-on experience as an electrician.
- A Senior Maintenance Technician is expected to act proactively and independently beginning and completing tasks without guidance.
- Ability to lead cross functional teams on improvement projects throughout the facility.
- Knowledge expert with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Expertise in mechanical and /or electrical troubleshooting with a proficiency in both.
- Ability to fabricate welded solutions without drawings or guidance.
- Ability to create and suggest modification to preventive maintenance schedules and effectively delegate tasks.
- Experience with complex CNC machine alignment.
- Proficient reading blueprints, schematics, repair / installation manuals and follow both verbal and written work instructions.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
- Knowledgeable with mechanical systems: drivetrains, hydraulic, pneumatic, pumping, and cooling systems.
- Candidate is expected to maintain and repair CNC machinery and manual mill/turns, lathes, mills, welders, hones, grinders, polishers, boring mills and drills.
- Able to troubleshoot and repair CNC controls and PLC systems.
- Maintains facility plumbing and compressed air/gas systems.
- Follows all environmental health and safety (EHS) policies, practices, protocols, and regulations.
- Ensures proper functioning of facility Fire Protection and Security Alarm systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
