Rate: $65-$68/hour W2

Duration: 12+ Months

Position Overview Seeking a Senior Linux Engineer to build, automate, secure, and support enterprise Linux infrastructure across multiple Web Support Services (WSS) portfolios. This is an ongoing role supporting large-scale production environments and cross-functional technology teams.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of Linux Engineering experience

• Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Enterprise cluster administration
• Ansible automation and configuration management
• Bash/Shell scripting
• Strong networking and firewall knowledge
• TLS/SSL certificate management
• Experience with F5 and/or AVI load balancers
• Strong VMware experience
• Understanding of three-tier web architecture
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, maintain, and support enterprise Linux infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Ansible automation for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Perform Linux performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Administer and support VMware environments, enterprise clusters, and production infrastructure.
• Manage F5/AVI load balancing environments.
• Manage TLS certificates and support security implementation activities.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux and infrastructure issues in production environments.
• Support infrastructure implementations, migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with application, networking, security, and other cross-functional teams.
