Summary/Objective: The Senior Leasing Administrative primary duties are to provide advanced support to the VP of Leasing and property management teams. Along with marketing and reporting while ensuring consistency, compliance, accuracy and efficiency throughout the leasing process. The Senior Leasing Administrative is also very service-oriented and strives to make prospects and current residents feel welcome and comfortable in the community. Classification: Non-exempt; overtime-eligible Location: New York, NY 10022 Essential function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following Leasing - Provide leasing support to Property Managers and on-site Leasing Agents across the portfolio from the Corporate Office.
- Review and audit agency packets, lease files, and support documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and affordable housing program requirements.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complete leasing issues, application concerns and documentation discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Property Managers, Leasing Agents, Compliance, and Operations to resolve leasing challenges and maintain occupancy goals.
- Monitor leasing activity, prepare reports, and assist with tracking property leasing performance and occupancy goals.
- Support move-in coordination by ensuring required documentation is complete and all leasing requirements have been satisfied prior to lease execution.
- Maintain accurate leasing records and electronic files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and Property Management teams to resolve leasing-related issues and ensure a consistent leasing process across the portfolio.
- Assist with special projects, audits, reporting, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Minimum of 4-6 years' experience in leasing administration, including experience with affordable housing programs (Rent Stabilized, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Project Based Section 8)
- Minimum 2 years' experience supporting multiple properties or a regional/corporate leasing function.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Marketing.
- Proficiency with MS office suite - Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Yardi software knowledge a must
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills necessary
- Must be able to work both independently and in a group setting
- Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to Affordable Housing
Pay Range: $23.00 - $26.00
