Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Java/Groovy Programmer Analyst to support the customization, administration, and integration of the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Groovy, workflow automation, and data governance, along with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business processes into scalable technical solutions.
Note: Candidates must currently reside in Wisconsin or be willing to relocate to Wisconsin within 30 days of the start date at their own expense. This position is 90–100% remote, with occasional onsite attendance required as needed and with advance notice.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in Java and Groovy programming
- 6+ years of experience in user interface customization and optimization
- 5+ years of experience with workflow design and business process mapping
- 5+ years of experience in data governance or data management
- Strong understanding of API development and system integration
- Experience translating business requirements into technical workflows
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and Java APIs
- 2+ years of experience using Eclipse IDE
- Experience with Flowable BPMN (formerly Activiti/Flowable)
- Experience working with the Collibra platform is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and enhance the Collibra platform based on business and agency requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze and map business processes into automated workflows.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Collibra and external data sources using Java and APIs.
- Configure, administer, and support the Collibra platform, including user and asset management.
- Design and implement workflow automation using Flowable BPMN (Activiti/Flowable).
- Develop, configure, and maintain Java-based applications and APIs supporting the platform.
- Assist with data integration, governance, and platform administration activities.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance platform functionality and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient data governance solutions.
