Job Title: Senior Java Developer
We're looking for a Senior Java resource based in Charlotte with strong, hands-on experience across the core stack.
Duration: 18 Months with Possible Extension
Preferred Location(s): Charlotte, NC
#Role is only on W2 only
Project Details:
Top 3 Must-Haves (deep, hands-on experience):
- Containers - Docker/Kubernetes, real production deployment experience
- Cloud - AWS/Azure/GCP, hands-on architecture and deployment
- Spring Boot - building and maintaining production services
- Payments Experience (more notes below)
Required Skills:
Look for someone who has worked on payments projects, ideally at another large financial institution. Here are some keywords/examples to look for:
- Payment Gateway/Processor Integration
- Card Network & Compliance Standards
- Core Payment Flows
- Banking & Money Movement
- Example: ACH, Wire Transfers, Real Time Payments, etc
Also Required:
- Database experience with CockroachDB and MongoDB - not just SQL/NoSQL in general, but actual hands-on work with these specific database
