Salary Range: $113,000-$127,000 Depending on Experience

Job Description Summary
A Senior IT Business / Functional Analyst is responsible for partnering with business teams to understand and document business processes, identify opportunities for improvement (OFIs), and deliver practical solutions using ERP, other enterprise systems or process change. This role requires strong business process knowledge, ERP experience, basic Business Intelligence (BI) understanding, and the ability to manage small to mid‑size initiatives end‑to‑end.
The ideal candidate is proactive, self‑motivated, and drives improvements without waiting for work to come to them.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document end‑to‑end business processes.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements; propose process, system, data, or reporting based solutions.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, process flows, and solution designs.
- Collaborate with the business to perform ROI analysis of the proposed solution.
- Support and lead solution implementation, including development, configuration support, testing (UAT), deployment, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
- Serve as a functional SME for ERP modules and integrated enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with BI and data teams to define reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and data requirements.
- Interpret business data and reports to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.
- Manage small to mid‑size initiatives, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate with IT, vendors, BI teams, and business users to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.
- Create and maintain clear documentation (process maps, requirements, SOPs, and improvement summaries).
- Proactively identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities without waiting for direction.
- Deliver training and lead Business Process Improvement (BPI) sessions.
- Coordinate activities and collaborate with team members across different regions such as India and Japan.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in an ERP‑centric manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proven track record in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of business processes and how they are supported by ERP and other systems.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts (Database, Data warehouse, Data Lake etc.), reporting, KPIs, and data analysis.
- Experience implementing process, system, or reporting improvements from concept through delivery.
- Ability to think out of the box and leverage appropriate technologies including Agentic AI, Robotic process automation to increase revenue and efficiency.
- Experience with BI data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is desirable.
- Ability to organize work, be proactive and lean on the fly.
- Ability to manage tasks, timelines, and risks for small to mid‑size projects.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent analytical skills
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to be tactful and diplomatic in challenging situations
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related field; and 10 years’ professional experience.
- PMP certification is desirable.
Physical Demands
- Sitting for long periods of time with some walking, stooping, bending, and reaching
- Dexterity to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists

Work Environment
- Work is performed in an office environment. Noise level is moderate. Intermittently work will be in the data center which has a constant temperature between 68 and 70 degrees to maintain proper cooling of computer equipment.
- Limited exposure to the warehouse. Limited exposure to temperature variations when shipping doors are open
- While traveling, will experience noise and comfort levels common to automobiles and airplanes
