Volt is immediately hiring for a Direct Hire for a Senior Internal Auditor (restaurant industry is a must) in Dallas, TX

As a Senior Internal Auditor you will: 

  • Execute operational, financial, and compliance audits in alignment with the annual audit strategy and established audit standards. 
  • Assist in identifying emerging risks and recommending audit priorities for future audit plans. 
  • Lead and support audit engagements through planning, testing, documentation, reporting, and post-audit follow-up.
  • Analyze business processes to identify control gaps, operational inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. 
  • Evaluate financial, operational, regulatory, and strategic risks across the organization. 
  • Communicate audit observations, findings, and recommendations to management and operational stakeholders. 
  • Review and monitor corrective action plans to ensure timely resolution of identified issues. 
  • Validate remediation efforts and confirm risks have been effectively addressed. 
  • Support departmental initiatives focused on continuous improvement, quality assurance, and audit effectiveness. 
  • Participate in special projects, audit committee activities, and business improvement efforts as assigned. 

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity. 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • Experience conducting operational, financial, and compliance audits. 
  • Strong knowledge of internal auditing principles, methodologies, and risk management practices. 
  • Experience preparing audit documentation, reports, and presenting findings to management. 
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Professional-level English proficiency. 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification. 
  • Prior audit experience within the restaurant, food service, retail, hospitality, or QSR industries is required.
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred, but not mandatory 
  • Experience supporting business process improvement and organizational transformation initiatives. 

Salary: $89,000 - $100,000 per year. 

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
