Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer with 10-15 years of experience to lead projects from concept through construction completion. This individual will be responsible for evaluating and solving design challenges across a variety of project types and sizes while serving as a key contributor to project success.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of design leadership, technical expertise, and client management skills. You will collaborate closely with internal project teams, consultants, and clients to deliver innovative, functional, and highly detailed design solutions.

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid position within a collaborative, design-focused office environment
  • Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
  • Employees may choose their in-office days and maintain a consistent schedule
  • Typical work week is 40 hours

  • Involvement across all project phases from Schematic Design through Construction Administration

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed interior design concepts and solutions
  • Establish project design criteria and functional requirements
  • Lead interior design project teams through all project phases
  • Present design concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams
  • Inspire and mentor junior staff members
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
  • Balance multiple projects simultaneously, ranging in size and complexity
  • Produce compelling digital presentations and design storytelling materials
  • Ensure project goals, deadlines, and quality standards are achieved

Qualifications:

Must Have

  • 10-15 years of professional interior design experience
  • Bachelor"s degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • Experience leading projects from design through construction completion
  • Strong client-facing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of IBC and accessibility codes

Nice to Have

  • NCIDQ certification
  • Commercial interior design experience
  • Experience with industrial, laboratory, clean room, or high-tech projects
  • Experience working on government or aerospace-related facilities
  • Previous mentoring or team leadership experience
  • Advanced graphic design, visualization, and presentation skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lakewood, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
