Description:

The CCRRT Intelligence Planner employs intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities, including collection, analytic and targeting activities, into overarching operational planning functions and efforts across the DOD.

Mission areas for Intelligence Planner assistance include, but are not limited to, development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES). Additionally, planners assist with red teaming, and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process.

Develops and maintains contractor support plans in response to CMG generated scenarios, based on Theater plans and emerging requirements, developing a weighting approach to recommend which effort receives the highest priority and the likely timeline for staffing.

The CMG COR or appropriate contracting authority will provide the contractor with requirements representing a capabilities gap needing integration of contractor capabilities into existing OPLANs, CONPLANs, and/or areas of emerging threat. Upon receipt of requirements identified as capability gaps from USG planners, the contractor shall conduct deliberate or crisis action planning for the integration of contractor capabilities into theater priority plans and emerging requirements and then package and present the results of this planning to the CMG planning staff for consideration and acceptance decision.

When accepted by the USG, the information/package submitted becomes USG property. Following acceptance, the contractors concept of support may be incorporated into the appropriate OPLAN or CONPLAN Annex W under "Scheme of Operational Contract Support." Upon Government execution of a crisis response surge requirement, be prepared to transition to support of the Mission Integration Division.
