This role is ideal for an experienced instrumentation SME who enjoys hands‑on engineering, complex technical challenges, and shaping standards for a large‑scale, multi‑discipline project.ResponsibilitiesLeading instrumentation engineering from conceptual design through commissioning and ongoing optimization.Developing and review instrumentation specifications, datasheets, requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.Conduct design reviews of vendor and contractor deliverables, resolving issues during key project phases.Collaborate closely within the EHS, Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls Engineering teams ensuring successful system integration.Oversee the sourcing, evaluation, and implementation of instrumentation packages with supply chain partners.Mentor junior engineers and support technical development and design reviews.Promote continuous improvement and technical excellence across the project.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).7+ years of experience in industrial instrumentation design, specification, configuration, and validation.Strong proficiency with P&IDs, loop drawings, I/O lists, and instrumentation documentation.3+ years developing or influencing instrumentation standards and best practices.Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, etc.).Strong understanding of hazardous area classifications (explosion-proof, intrinsically safe, etc.).Familiarity with 3D model review, conduit/tray routing, and installation detail development.#J-18808-Ljbffr
