The Alameda County Of?ce of Education (ACOE) Professional Advancement and Training Hub (PATH) is seeking an Ed Specialist Senior Instructional Coach to advance our mission of expanding equitable career pathways into and within education. Through accessible, low-cost credentialing programs, PATH works to build a skilled, diverse, and stable educator workforce that re?ects and serves our communities. PATH is committed to addressing critical staf?ng gaps that disproportionately impact focal student groups-particularly where existing systems and local programming fall short. We aim to redesign systems so they effectively serve students who have historically been underserved. The PATH Induction Program is hiring a Senior Instructional Coach to co-create and sustain a high-quality Education Specialist (Ed Specialist) Induction experience, including the development and support of mentors for teachers earning their clear credential. This role will contribute to building a countywide Induction model that centers re?ective practice and continuous growth. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching or providing support in both Extensive Support Needs (ESN) and Mild/Moderate Support Needs settings, find joy in supporting the growth and development of Education Specialist teachers-from those new to the profession to veteran educators-and be passionate about helping them create thriving, inclusive learning environments for their students. They will also be energized by opportunities to contribute to program development and innovation as part of a collaborative team.
