Through implementation of specific action plans, training and advocacy, you will help to influence the organization to a new culture. They will demonstrate success through increased plant operational metrics performance.You will be responsible for using the processes, measurements, standards, and efforts available with the primary focus areas of Industrial Engineering & continuous improvement. The incumbent is fully accountable for supporting the creation of an inclusive and positive organizational culture while assisting developing their personal skills.How you will do itTo be successful as an industrial engineer you should be able to design production systems that maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness and production issues, are cost-efficient, and ensure high product quality.Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements, maintaining labor models.Improve site Material Flow by using tools like PFEP, Floor space Planning tools and Inventory Calculations.Calculate Capacity and maintain site capacity models.Perform Indirect Labor time studies, calculate utilization and developing action plans for improving plant efficiency.Improve Material flow and introduce Material automation.
