Senior HVAC Specialist provides maintenance for the RCC and RHA venues, which includes maintaining and repairing the venues, preventative maintenance and responding to clients' requests and troubleshooting technical issues efficiently. This position will be devoted to performing complex, specialized and skilled maintenance troubleshooting and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across our three venues. Additionally, this position will support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our HVAC systems and provide emergency response coverage if necessary.About YouWe are looking for candidates with strong HVAC and maintenance knowledge, looking to bring years of experience and expertise to our venues! Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, rooftop units, and exhaust systemsProgram, calibrate, and troubleshoot HVAC control systems and building automation systems (BAS) while monitoring performance and adjusting settings to optimize performanceEnsure HVAC systems comply with federal, state, and local codes, including EPA, OSHA, and energy regulationsTroubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical and electronic system failures and replace motors, compressors, controls, valves, and related components when neededProvide technical assistant and training to maintenance staffParticipate and adhere to department safety policies and proceduresTypical QualificationsEducation and ExperienceHigh School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency; 3 to 5 years' experience in construction or skilled maintenance and repair of a variety of building systems, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing, or related workORAny equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substitutedPreferred QualificationsEPA 608, North American Technician Excellence (NATE), HVAC Excellence or similar certifications#J-18808-Ljbffr
