Senior Human Resources Generalist
Location: Dedham Area
Compensation $46.00-$50.00 per hour
Type: Contract 3 months.

Senior HR Generalist
The Senior HR Generalist will lead day-to-day HR operations for a growing high-tech manufacturing company with 60+ employees. This hands-on role partners closely with leadership and is responsible for payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and improving HR processes and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary owner of ADP, including processing payroll for 60+ employees, maintaining data integrity, and improving HR workflows through streamlined processes and SOPs.
  • Manage HR operations in compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other applicable regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and manage relationships with the benefits broker, 401(k) providers, and other third-party vendors.
  • Support Workers’ Compensation administration, reporting, and related employee matters in a manufacturing environment where these issues are especially relevant.
  • Partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, retention, employee engagement, and performance support.
  • Act as a trusted resource to employees and managers on HR policies, compensation, benefits, and employee relations matters.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen the HR function and support company growth.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including payroll and benefits administration.
  • Manufacturing background required.
  • Strong ADP experience required; ADP Workforce Now preferred.
  • Experience processing payroll for 60+ employees.
  • Hands-on experience with Workers’ Compensation, benefits brokers, and 401(k) administration required.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent judgment, communication, organization, and follow-through.
