Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Senior HRMS Administrator to join our Human Resources department. This position is a FULL-TIME opportunity based out of our regional office located in Washington, D.C. with a hybrid work model.

Reporting to the HRMS Manager, the Senior HRMS Administrator/Consultant serves as a technical subject matter expert responsible for the design, configuration, integration, and optimization of MAPMG’s HR technology ecosystem. In this role, you will lead complex HRMS initiatives, partner closely with HR and business stakeholders, and ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational strategy. This position plays a key role in expanding automation, improving data integrity, enhancing reporting and analytics, and delivering a seamless employee experience.

You can expect to:

  • Serve as the technical lead for UKG Pro, including overseeing the systems configuration and administration, security administration, and system performance
  • Lead HRMS projects and initiatives, including project planning, stakeholder coordination, testing, execution, and post-implementation support to ensure success of project implementation
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities before and after implementation to validate system functionality, data integrity, and business process outcomes
  • Serve as the technical lead for all HR systems integrations with external vendors, including solution design, security architecture, data mapping, testing, implementation support, and ongoing integration maintenance and optimization
  • Support advanced HRMS configuration, including building and maintaining organizational structures, business rules, workflow business process, position management frameworks, and security administration
  • Support technical benefits administration processes, including open enrollment setup, life event configuration, and carrier connectivity
  • Manage vendor integrations and data feeds between HR systems and benefits providers, and third-party systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving interface failures and transmission errors
      • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, including systems issues, cross-system data discrepancies and proactively assess and mitigate system, data, security, and operational risks across the HR technology landscape
      • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions aligned with strategic goals and operational needs
      • Manage and maintain HR data repositories, ensuring data integrity through regular audits, reconciliations, validation processes
      • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, system enhancements, and automation solutions to improve functionality, efficiency, and user experience
      • Develop troubleshooting protocols and standard operating procedures for system issues and process failure
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and internal IT partners to support system performance and enhancements

      What is required:

      • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business analytics, or a related field
      • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on HR systems administration, systems configuration, and troubleshooting experience
      • Minimum of 3 years of systems administration experience with UKG Pro and Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM
      • Experience supporting benefits administration systems, including open enrollment, life events, and carrier integrations is required
      • Demonstrated experience managing HR systems integrations, including interfaces with external vendors, and strong understanding of APIs and SFTPs
      • Experience coordinating and supporting HRMS implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and testing activities
      • Must be able to commute to Washington D.C., on an as-needed basis
      • Candidates must either currently live in or be willing to relocate to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area
      • Must provide documentation for the influenza vaccine as a condition of employment

      The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $100,452 to $120,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
