Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the processing of employee appointments, resolving pay disparities in OMNI HR system, and the supervision of EDM staff responsible for processing employee appointments.

  • Supervises EDM staff primarily responsible for reviewing and processing OPS and staff appointments submitted through ePAF, pPAF, and Onboarding. Ensures all appointments are unput timely and accurately. Responsible for the performance management and career development of reporting staff.
  • Reviews and processes submitted appointments to ensure employees are paid accurately and timely following appropriate University, state and federal guidelines. Works with departments and EDM staff to ensure data integrity and accuracy for all work completed.
  • Reviews and resolve appointment and pay disparities which involve the OMNI system, service center cases, queries/reports, or working with departments.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships and partnerships with other campus areas including HR staff, Payroll, BAS-HR as well as departments to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HR services and processes while leveraging technology to complete duties.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required including related website/form updates, meetings, training, and system testing. Serves as the backup to the Assistant Director, EDM when necessary to represent HR in OMNI initiatives, projects, committees, and campus meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree and four years of experience in human resources or a combination of post high school education and human resource experience equal to eight years.

Anticipated Salary Range

Starting in the mid $50,000s, commensurate with education and experience.
