    Senior Hr Generalist

    A growing, mission-driven general contractor supporting work across California is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support their team. This is a great fit for someone who is comfortable owning the full HR function, works well in a lean environment, and wants to be part of a company with real purpose behind it.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for field and office positions
    • Administer employee benefits programs and serve as primary point of contact for employee questions
    • Manage employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
    • Administer leave programs including FMLA, CFRA, and ADA accommodations
    • Manage HRIS platform and support transition from ADP to BambooHR
    • Maintain and update company policies and employee handbook
    • Support performance management processes and manager coaching
    • Coordinate workers compensation claims and reporting
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
    • Maintain accurate HR recordkeeping and documentation
    • Coordinate training programs and track completion
    • Manage offboarding and termination processes
    • Support basic compensation administration and benchmarking
    Requirements
    • 5+ years of HR generalist or HR manager experience
    • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and California employment law
    • Experience with HRIS platforms; ADP experience required, BambooHR experience a plus
    • Comfortable owning HR operations independently in a lean environment
    • Construction or contractor industry experience strongly preferred
    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
    • PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
    • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
