Job Title: Sr. Human Director of Total Rewards and Compensation Location: Dallas/Fort Worth
CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Sr. Human Director of Total Rewards and Compensation for an opportunity with a leading organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This role will report directly to the Regional HR Director with oversight of the Western Region. This leader will drive the strategy, design, and execution of comprehensive total rewards programs that support talent attraction, retention, and engagement. The position plays a critical role in aligning compensation and benefits initiatives with organizational goals while leading a high-performing team and advising executive leadership on market trends and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with organizational strategy
Oversee compensation structures, benchmarking, and market analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA)
Advise senior leadership on total rewards strategies to drive talent attraction, retention, and engagement
Direct the annual compensation planning process, including merit increases and incentive programs
Manage employee benefits programs including health, retirement, wellness, and leave offerings
Oversee open enrollment, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations
Provide guidance to HR partners and leadership on job evaluations, offers, and compensation strategy
Lead, mentor, and develop the total rewards team to drive performance and continuous improvement
Monitor program effectiveness, trends, and costs, making data-driven recommendations
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
710+ years of progressive HR experience with strong focus on compensation and benefits
Deep knowledge of compensation strategy, benefits design, and regulatory compliance
Experience leading performance management and total rewards initiatives
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
Valid Texas drivers license required
Preferred:
Masters degree
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities
