About the Role
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Senior HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor to senior field and functional leaders across our multi-site dental operations. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role aligns people strategy, workforce planning, performance, and culture with business objectives — while driving compliant, consistent, and scalable HR practices across a fast-growing organization.
What You'll Do
Strategic Business & Workforce Partnership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, aligning people strategy with operational, financial, and acquisition-driven growth objectives
- Lead workforce planning efforts including headcount modeling, staffing mix, and organizational design
- Partner with HR leadership to standardize HR practices, tools, and decision frameworks across legacy and newly acquired practices
- Use people and business data to identify trends, flag risks, and influence leader decision-making
Leader Coaching & Change Management
- Coach and advise leaders on performance management, accountability, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness
- Support change management initiatives tied to acquisitions, integrations, restructures, and operating model changes
- Develop standardized communication approaches for leader talking points, employee messaging, and transition support
Employee Relations, Compliance & Risk
- Lead complex employee relations matters including investigations, corrective action, performance management, and involuntary separations
- Apply working knowledge of multi-state employment laws to ensure compliant, defensible decision-making
- Proactively identify patterns, systemic risks, and process gaps and recommend scalable solutions
Talent, Succession & Organizational Capability
- Partner with leaders to identify critical roles and support succession planning across existing and acquired practices
- Support oversight of provider risk items including malpractice certificates and tail coverage documentation
- Reinforce standardized onboarding, credentialing, and provider compliance practices
HR Program Execution & Operational Excellence
- Lead and support enterprise HR programs: performance reviews, compensation cycles, policy rollouts, and org changes
- Analyze people metrics (turnover, ER trends, engagement data) to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure accurate, timely, and defensible HR documentation and case management
What We're Looking For
- 5–7 years of progressive human resources experience, including HRBP-level work supporting senior leaders in a multi-site environment
- Experience in healthcare, dental support organizations (DSOs), or similarly regulated industries strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience supporting organizational growth and acquisitions, including integration, workforce stabilization, and process standardization
- Advanced employee relations experience: investigations, corrective action, performance management, and involuntary terminations
- Proven ability to coach leaders through high-risk people decisions with sound compliance and legal judgment
- Working knowledge of multi-state employment laws applied across geographically dispersed teams
- Track record of building scalable HR processes in growth-oriented or private equity-backed organizations
- Strong ability to influence senior leaders, manage ambiguity, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred
