WOULD YOU BE THE RIGHT FIT FOR THIS SENIOR HOME ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT POSITION?

This part-time position is expected to work 15 - 24 hours per week during our standard hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You'll help enrich the lives of older adults by coming up with ideas for engaging programs and leading small groups during these activities. You can do anything from Tai Chi and chair yoga to karaoke, memory games, mindful breathing exercises, and more. No matter what you're doing, you'll encourage the seniors, keep the energy high, and celebrate every win and milestone. You'll also provide personal care support as needed, including transportation, transferring, meal assistance, toileting reminders, etc. The Senior Home Activities Assistant is also expected to attend meetings, participate in training, set up/break down the studio, and help with general cleaning (sweeping, dusting, etc.).

Here's what we're looking for:

• Residence within 15 miles of our zip code
• 5+ years of experience designing and leading activities in group settings
• Experience in healthcare, customer service, or a similar field
• Ability to drive members to and from home to the studio as needed
• Positive, empathetic, and adaptable personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for helping the elderly
• Eagerness to learn more
• Ability to follow our dress code
