Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Taunton MA Landfill

Overview
Our leading environmental solutions client is seeking a Senior level Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work at their Taunton landfill location. This is a stable, long term opportunity offering great pay, a
sign on bonus, and a Monday through Friday shift supporting essential operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, fleet vehicles, and landfill machinery
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension, air, and drivetrain systems
• Inspect equipment, identify mechanical issues, and complete required repairs efficiently
• Conduct safety inspections and service calls as needed
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Work collaboratively with lead mechanics and maintenance leadership

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• 4 plus years of heavy equipment or fleet maintenance experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an outdoor landfill environment
• Experience with landfill, construction, or off road equipment strongly preferred
