Senior Healthcare Compensation Analyst

Location: Houston, Texas
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Shift: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $52/hour on W2

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Consultant with strong healthcare compensation expertise to serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders and HR stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, evaluating, and implementing compensation solutions that support organizational objectives. This role goes beyond traditional compensation analysis and requires the ability to independently assess complex business challenges, identify root causes, and develop actionable, data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and HR stakeholders to diagnose compensation, recruiting, and retention challenges and recommend effective solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive compensation analyses by integrating multiple data sources, including:
    • Market benchmarking
    • Turnover metrics
    • Talent acquisition insights
    • Workforce analytics
    • Internal compensation data
  • Interpret compensation trends and evaluate their impact on talent attraction, retention, and organizational performance.
  • Develop strategic compensation recommendations aligned with business objectives, market competitiveness, and internal equity.
  • Perform advanced financial and cost modeling to evaluate compensation programs, pay structures, incentive plans, and proposed organizational changes.
  • Prepare business cases and data-driven recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and executive-ready format.
  • Provide consultative guidance on:
    • Compensation strategy
    • Job evaluations
    • Salary structures
    • Market pricing
    • Pay equity
  • Ensure compensation programs comply with applicable regulations, policies, and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders to support strategic workforce planning.
  • Support compensation program development and organizational compensation initiatives.
  • Stay current with healthcare compensation trends, labor market dynamics, and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes, structures, and organizational outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Significant senior-level compensation experience with demonstrated success in strategic compensation consulting.
  • Direct healthcare compensation experience required.
  • Proven ability to independently analyze complex business problems and develop strategic, actionable compensation solutions.

    • Compensation strategy
  • Advanced financial modeling, cost analysis, and scenario-planning skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with compensation systems and HRIS platforms preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
  • Experience supporting large, complex healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders using data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience developing executive-level compensation presentations and business cases.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare labor market trends and compensation practices.
