Job Title : Senior Government Rates Analyst
Job Duration : 12 month on W2 - potential extension/conversion
Job Location : Indianapolis, IN
Hybrid In office M & TH plus another float day

Job Description:
Work directly with Customer Representatives including Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)
Serve as initial point of contact for Internal and Government audits of formal Government submissions
Use strong SAP financial data gathering and advanced excel skills for submission preparation
Use experience in understanding the requirements of US Department of Defense (DOD): Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) regulations to interpret company compliance and advise on improvements when required
Prepare labor and overhead rates with supporting documentation
Prepare submission of DOD Disclosure Statements and accounting change impact submissions
Use understanding of ****** cost center structure and relationships to determine various cost impacts

Hard Requirements:
2 years of Accounting and SAP experience (SAP experience not as important, but more SAP experience will get resumes looked at so RR doesn t have to train as much)
Excel reasonably high level. (Xlookups, Sumifs, Large/Complex Spreadsheets)
Accounting knowledge this is to help develop the rates/prices they use for government contracts

Education/Citizenship Requirements:
USC required; Bachelor s in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field

Preferred Skills:
Would love to have someone who is a doer and a thinker
