CTG is seeking a highly experienced Senior GitLab Platform Administrator to support and optimize enterprise DevOps and CI/CD platforms for our client. This role requires deep expertise in GitLab administration, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD automation, and enterprise DevOps tooling within complex cloud and containerized environments. Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite - 3 to 5 days per week required) Duration: 9 months Key Responsibilities: Administer and optimize enterprise GitLab environments and CI/CD pipelines Configure and manage GitLab Runners, Groups, Projects, and Permissions at scale Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible Support GitOps practices and automate deployment workflows Administer DevOps tools including Artifactory, Xray, and SonarQube Harden GitLab environments with SAML/SSO, LDAP, RBAC, backup, and recovery solutions Support Kubernetes/OpenShift containerized environments Integrate monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Collaborate with engineering teams to implement CI/CD best practices Troubleshoot and resolve platform, pipeline, and migration-related issues Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation Required Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of administration experience supporting enterprise applications and DevOps platforms Strong expertise with GitLab administration and GitLab Self-Managed environments Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud platforms Strong understanding of Software Configuration Management (SCM) and SDLC methodologies Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows Strong scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and analytical skills Experience with Agile development environments and enterprise DevOps practices Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: GitLab Certified Administrator certification Experience with build management, configuration management, and quality testing tools Prior experience supporting highly available enterprise DevOps environments Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred Equivalent work experience will also be considered Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
