Responsibilities:

Lead One of New York's Premier Luxury Condominium Communities

At Related, leadership extends far beyond property management - it's about creating exceptional living experiences, building high-performing teams, and preserving some of New York City's most distinguished residential communities.

Related is seeking an experienced Senior General Manager (District Manager) to lead operations at Skyview on the Hudson, one of Queens' premier luxury condominium communities. This highly visible leadership opportunity is ideal for a strategic operator who thrives at the intersection of luxury hospitality, financial leadership, board governance, capital planning, and resident experience.

As the operational leader of this iconic community, you'll partner closely with the Board of Directors, oversee a talented onsite team, manage multimillion-dollar operating and capital budgets, and drive initiatives that enhance both the resident experience and long-term value of the property.

If you're an executive-level property leader who enjoys influencing strategy as much as day-to-day operations, we'd love to meet you.

Property InformationSkyview on the Hudson is one of New York City's most prestigious condominium communities, offering luxury residences, a Fendi-designed lobby, resort-style amenities, an outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis courts, spa facilities, and a spectacular 260,000-square-foot landscaped rooftop overlooking the Manhattan skyline.

This is a rare opportunity to lead one of Related's most sophisticated condominium operations while partnering directly with an engaged Board of Directors and ownership stakeholders.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary onsite leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while creating opportunities for employee growth and succession planning.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching conversations, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Champion Related's culture, values, and commitment to exceptional resident service.

Board Partnership & Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as the primary liaison to the Condominium Board of Directors, building trusted relationships through transparency, communication, and strategic guidance.
  • Prepare and present operational, financial, and capital improvement updates during Board meetings.
  • Provide thoughtful recommendations that support long-term planning, asset preservation, and community enhancement.
  • Execute Board initiatives while balancing resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and fiscal responsibility.

Financial Leadership

  • Own the property's operating and capital budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Analyze monthly financial performance, prepare variance reports, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee forecasting, reserve planning, and long-term capital improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure responsible expense management while maintaining Related's luxury service standards.

Property Operations

  • Direct all aspects of daily building operations, including engineering, maintenance, security, resident services, and vendor management.
  • Lead preventative maintenance programs that protect the property's physical assets and enhance long-term value.
  • Oversee construction projects, tenant alterations, and capital improvements while minimizing disruption to residents.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, governing documents, and company policies.

Resident Experience

  • Deliver a hospitality-driven living experience that reflects Related's reputation for luxury residential excellence.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents while addressing complex concerns with professionalism, discretion, and urgency.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for residents, guests, Board members, vendors, and prospective buyers.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to elevate service standards and resident satisfaction.

Vendor & Risk Management

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with contractors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Negotiate vendor agreements while ensuring quality, compliance, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Monitor contractor performance, insurance compliance, and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness plans, life safety programs, and operational risk management procedures remain current and effective.

Operational Excellence

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and financial performance.
  • Leverage data and reporting to make informed business decisions and measure operational success.
  • Lead special projects that support innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement across the property.

Compensation:
