    Job Description:

    This position maintains the general ledger for UPS companies in local region. He/She serves as a subject matter expert in all areas of financial analysis and accounting procedures, including reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing journals containing large data sets, and uploading journals onto the general ledger.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepares, audits, and enters journal entries.
    • Reconciles balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
    • Prepares and receives electronic charge memos.
    • Provides internal customer support, including research of account balances and variance analysis.
    • Manipulates large data sets.
    • Performs account reconciliations.
    • Completes special projects as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
    • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related field - Preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week

    Other Criteria:

    • Position is an internal Grade Level 009
    • Candidate must be geographically located in the same region as position or willing to self-relocate
    • Position will be on a hybrid schedule
