Company Description: Founded in 1919, Woodbury Corporation is a commercial real-estate company which manages over 180 operating properties across 16 states. The company manages a variety of asset classes including office, retail, multi-family, and hospitality.  
 
Role Overview: Woodbury Corporation is looking to hire a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Fund Accountant to support the accounting, operations, and financial reporting of the Woodbury Capital Investment Funds. This individual will report directly to the Fund Controller and will work closely with the CFO. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong educational background in accounting, have familiarity with the structure and operations of private equity funds, and have interpersonal skills to work with teams across the organization to improve accounting processes. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
·         Multi-entity fund accounting
·         Maintain fund and investor capital activity schedules
·         Assist with waterfall and carried interest calculations
·         Support fund operations (capital calls, distributions, management fees, etc.)
·         Prepare quarterly financial statements for the funds and co-invest entities
·         Perform internal review of property books
·         Coordinate with external auditors to complete year-end audits
·         Collaborate with the investment team regarding investor communications
·         Prepare ad hoc reporting and financial analyses for executive leadership 
 
Job Requirements:
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Master’s and Licensed CPA is a plus)
·         Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in public, fund, or industry accounting           
·         Experience in the financial statement audit process
·         Excellent analytical, research, and managerial accounting skills
·         Knowledge of US GAAP
·         Proficient in Microsoft Excel
·         Proficient in Accounting ERPs
·         Experience within the real-estate industry is preferred
·         Strong written and verbal communication skills
