Senior Full Stack .NET Developer

Assyst is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to support a large-scale financial systems modernization initiative for our client. The selected candidate will play a key role in analyzing, documenting, and remediating enterprise web applications, databases, interfaces, and related technology assets impacted by the transition to a modern financial management platform.

This role requires strong expertise in Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Angular, React, SQL Server, Oracle, Azure, and on-premises application environments. The ideal candidate will have experience working across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, and modernizing applications to meet evolving business and financial system requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing web applications and document technical specifications, business processes, and system dependencies.
• Collaborate with management and technical teams to develop remediation strategies for impacted applications and databases.
• Work with business users to evaluate current applications and identify opportunities for improvement based on business requirements and remediation objectives.
• Modify, enhance, and remediate web applications to support evolving financial system requirements.
• Update applications to accommodate changes in chart of accounts, financial data structures, and related business processes.
• Partner with database administrators to design and develop database views, stored procedures, and other database objects required for application remediation.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve data models and overall system effectiveness.
• Manage work items, source code, deployments, and release activities using Azure DevOps.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, team meetings, and collaborative development activities.
• Perform application maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions with support and technical teams.
• Contribute to solutions involving multiple data sources and technologies across enterprise environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and supporting enterprise web applications.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Classic ASP
  • ASP.NET
  • JavaScript
  • Angular and/or React
  • SQL Server
  • Oracle Database
  • Microsoft Azure
  • On-premises and cloud-based application environments

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in full-stack web application development and maintenance.
• Advanced SQL development skills, including database design, query optimization, views, and stored procedures.
• Experience working with SQL Server and/or Oracle relational database management systems.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for work management, source control, and deployment processes.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and Scrum practices.
• Ability to analyze complex applications, identify dependencies, and implement remediation solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience integrating data from multiple systems and technologies.
