Purpose: Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/ cherry picker as well as other powered equipment for the daily task of RF cycle counting all zones in the distribution/operations warehouse and move product around the distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center.

Shifts:

  • Weekend (R) Shift: Friday - Sunday (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
  • Day Shift (S) Shift: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cycle count all zones in the distribution/operations warehouse with an RF gun.
  • Utilizing powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately.
  • Work in hot and cold warehouse environment.
  • Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (1WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products.
  • Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork.
  • Flexibility to train and work in multiple areas.
  • Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Understand and apply health and safety guidelines/procedures
  • Identify, report, and follow up on any property damage or safety concerns
  • Participate in Lean Six Sigma activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit-down forklift.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language

Essential Functions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

  • regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up twelve (12) hours/day
  • able to work safely at high levels, upwards of thirty-five (35) feet
  • able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
  • able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
  • required to safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above
  • occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of six (6) months previous experience operating forklifts
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
