Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District has an opening for a Senior Food Service Assistant position for the 26/27 school year at M.Twain Elementary School. This is a 10-month, 8-hour/day position that accumulates one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. In addition, LESD pays 100% for employee health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependent coverage is at a cost to the employee. In addition, LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees. Requirements / Qualifications
Required Documents: Resume Copy of High School Diploma or GED Completion *Certification in Food Handling (preferred) Any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed in the job description including two years preparing and serving food in large quantities. The position is 8 hours per day at M.Twain Elementary School (M-F 7 AM - 3:30 PM, hours subject to change) Current LESD Employees: (this excludes substitutes) Current employees, please submit a Reassignment Request form with all required documents via Reassignment Request Link in Lawndale Email Please note that as of March 1st, 2025 we are no longer accepting paper reassignment requests).
