Job Overview:
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst supports the preparation and presentation of monthly financial statements, contributes to the annual budgeting process, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Duties also include participation in data analysis, administration of data analytics tools, and customer pricing initiatives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly financial analysis by site
- Investigate and explain material variances for senior leadership review
- Administer and maintain data analytics tools and programs
- Validate data integrity to assess operational efficiency
- Support management team with data analysis and KPIs
- Assist in development and implementation of the annual budget
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams on profitability analysis, customer pricing, and other analyses
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
- Advanced business intelligence technical skills, including Power BI
- Ability to interpret data and communicate insights and trends
- Experience building financial dashboards and automating reporting
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred
- 5+ years of experience in finance or financial analysis
