About the Role

The Senior Financial Control Coordinator supports the Director of Accounting & Financial Reporting within Health Care Finance by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department. This role ensures strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and effective coordination across key accounting functions—including Accounts Receivable, general ledger activities, and monthly close processes. The Coordinator plays a critical role in safeguarding Hospital assets, maintaining compliance with internal policies, and supporting the production of timely, reliable financial statements.

 

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

  • Supports the Director of Accounting & Financial Reporting by managing daily operations within the Accounting Department.
  • Oversees key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, general ledger activities, and the monthly close process.
  • Ensures strong financial controls and accurate, timely financial reporting.
  • Helps safeguard hospital assets and ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Supports the preparation of reliable financial statements through effective coordination across accounting teams.

 

Qualifications:

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible financial experience.
  • Proficient in commonly used computer applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and/or experience may be considered in place of the degree requirement.

Compensation(NJ Job Transparency Law)

The expected salary range for this position is $108,877- $148,748 per year, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
