Job Summary

The Senior Financial Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting finance system operations related to Oracle Cloud ERP and other business systems, including Axiom, Concur, Harris ADS cost accounting, Kodiak Revenue Cycle Analytics, Epic, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support for all internal finance applications.
  • Responsible for the manual extracting, processing and loading of data for finance databases.
  • Monitors and updates all automated file interfaces.
  • Validates data loads to ensure accuracy of data selection and load process.
  • Monitors servers for space and performs routine maintenance on files performing compaction and archiving as required.
  • Responsible for the analysis, planning, design and implementation of major projects assigned to the department.
  • Responsible for the analysis and development of all requirements/needs and identification of systems and/or tools to allow the respective clients to make better decisions regarding the operations of their departments.
  • Scope of work includes participating in meetings that ensure the highest quality products for our customers.
  • Provides technical guidance and recommendations to project members regarding specific projects.
  • Responsible for support of technology solutions within the Finance areas.
  • Responsible for implementation of major projects from different departments throughout the health system.
  • Attends project meetings.
  • Plays active role in decision-making regarding the quality and accessibility of data elements.
  • Provides system monitoring reports to management or others as determined by the department manager.
  • Provides training to department staff on various subjects determined by the department manager.
  • Design and build of custom tools, interfaces and applications as needed to improve departmental productivity.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

  • Three (3) plus years of experience in Financial Analysis/Data Analytics, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong grasp of SQL, Python, IIS Web Server, and MS .net framework (Visual Studio or C highly preferred).
  • ETL operations (data warehousing concepts) required.
  • Epic experience highly desirable.

Educational/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Epic Clarity Certification preferred.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid Remote = must currently live in Los Angeles area or willing to relocate to LA area for weekly onsite requirements
