The Team

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join American Tower's Financial Planning and Analysis ("FP&A") team. The FP&A team partners with internal stakeholders to provide actionable analyses and recommendations driven by detailed analytics. Day to day, you will be responsible for a variety of functions, including but not limited to financial modeling, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. You will obtain and communicate information that is financial and operational in nature, analyze information, and prepare various reporting packages and summaries of results to be used at all organizational levels.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related major required
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a business environment in a financial analysis or accounting role required.
  • CFA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • Exemplify initiative, intelligence, strong attention to detail, and integrity in striving for continuous improvement.
  • Enterprise platform experience with an understanding of a data warehouse and how it relates to the FP&A function.
  • Strong finance skills with a deep understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees effectively and professionally to achieve results.
  • Be a strategic, agile, and responsive partner in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Approximately 5% travel may be required in support of the position's responsibilities.

  • Spearhead collaboration between groups to develop business plans and valuation support as part of new product development activities.
  • Provide deep technical and analytical expertise when responding to complex, specialized report requests.
  • Assist FP&A Managers and Directors with preparing analyses, commentary, and presentation material for quarterly executive and operational review meetings by building models and presentations.
  • Provide thoughtful and comprehensive financial analyses to stakeholders, leveraging various data sources to drive informed decisions within the Company.
  • Other duties as assigned.
