Job Details

his individual will play a pivotal role in driving value creation through financial modeling, M&A analysis, and post-acquisition integration. In addition to supporting the sponsor’s strategic initiatives, this role will be deeply involved in core FP&A activities such as annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and performance tracking across the company’s operations.



The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a solid grounding in corporate finance and business operations. The position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of corporate finance and private equity, providing analytical and strategic support to both IWS and Sciens.



This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO and collaborating closely with the Director of Finance, IWS leadership team, and the Sciens sponsor team.



Key Responsibilities

Private Equity Support

Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential M&A opportunities, including scenario analysis and valuation modeling.
Collaborate with Sciens’ deal and finance teams to manage due diligence processes, financial data requests, and ad-hoc analysis.
Contribute to post-acquisition financial transition and integration efforts, ensuring alignment between IWS and Sciens’ financial objectives.


Corporate FP&A Support

Partner with the CFO and Director of Finance to deliver robust forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to support operational and financial decision-making.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews and develop management dashboards and performance metrics.
Assist in post-acquisition FP&A integration, consolidating new entities into financial systems and reporting frameworks.
Enhance existing financial models and tools to improve forecasting accuracy, cost tracking, and profitability analysis.


Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred).
Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in FP&A, investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity.
Advanced Excel modeling skills; experience with financial systems and BI tools a plus.
Deep understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and M&A processes.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data for executive and investor audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or other project-based industries is highly desirable, particularly with cost accounting, project forecasting, or operational finance exposure.
