About the Role<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

BizFirst is seeking a <\/span>Senior Financial Analyst III <\/span><\/b> to support Commander, Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet in San Diego.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

This position provides Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) leadership support to the CNSP Comptroller, delivering financial analysis, audit readiness, system support, and training services. The Lead Financial Program Analyst will ensure effective and efficient execution of the CNSP Financial Management Program.<\/span><\/span>

Required Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from an accredited United States college or university<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant FIAR experience (within the last two years)<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
    • Recent experience (within the last two years) serving as a Lead Financial Program Analyst<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience planning, directing, coordinating, and analyzing financial activities of a branch, office, or department<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience recommending alternative funding methods to meet financial program objective<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience generating reports and analysis thru Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N -ERP), Defense Travel System (DTS), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Advana, Jupiter, Microsoft Access databases, Excel, and Power BI<\/span><\/span>

      Primary Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

      Program Leadership & Financial Oversight<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/p>

      • Serve as Lead Financial Program Analyst with full authority for contractor performance and daily contract operations<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Plan, direct, coordinate, and analyze accounting and financial activities to ensure efficient use of resources<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Support budget development, cost tracking, financial reporting, and recommend corrective actions based on variance analysis<\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        Financial Systems & Audit Readiness Support<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
        <\/span><\/p>

        • Generate regular and ad -hoc financial reports using Navy ERP (N -ERP), DTS, WAWF, Advana, Jupiter, Microsoft Access, Excel, and Power BI<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Perform trial balance reconciliations, variance analysis, abnormal balance resolution, and feeder system validation<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Support audit readiness, contract compliance reviews, and financial documentation integrity across CNSP<\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

          Training, Process Improvement & Program Management<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
          <\/span><\/p>

          • Develop and sustain N -ERP training strategies and update SOPs, desk guides, and learning materials<\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Identify process improvements across financial and business systems to strengthen compliance and efficiency<\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>
          • Provide administrative and program support including meeting coordination, briefing materials, agenda development, and action tracking<\/span><\/span>
