This is a two day a week in office, hybrid role that can sit in either our San Francisco office or our New York City office (Opening January 2026!)About the Role:Taskrabbit is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. The ideal candidate brings a background in both finance and data analytics. In this role, you'll contribute to traditional FP&A responsibilities-such as preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting-while also serving as a key data resource within the finance organization. You'll help bridge the gap between business and financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity across sources. In addition, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing frameworks to deepen our understanding of marketplace profitability and guide investment strategy. We're looking for someone with a proven track record in financial analysis, data analytics, and problem-solving. A good fit for the role will be highly self-motivated, intellectually curious, and analytical, with a strong sense of ownership and ethics that ensure high-quality results every day.What you will work on:Build and manage financial reports, models, and recurring forecasts.Collaborate with cross-functional partners-including Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Accounting-to ensure accuracy and consistency in our financial data sources.Ensure changes to our business model are accurately captured in our financial reporting.Analyze anomalies in data, uncovering root causes, risks and opportunities.Design and maintain dashboards that track marketplace profitability and inform investment strategy (e.g., CAC/LTV, CPJ, unit economics, contribution margin).Conduct ROI analyses to evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities.Who you are:Bachelor/Master's degree in math, analytics, finance, or other quantitative discipline4+ years of corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or data analyticsStrong modeling skills - a spreadsheet wizardAbility to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and business audiences, effectively serving as a bridge between the twoAbility to identify critical business problems and address them through analytical models and solutionsSelf-starter with a curious mindset who can creatively solve problemsTeam-player who enjoys jumping into an all-hands-on-deck startup environmentStrongly preferred: Familiarity with programming languages (Python, SQL) and data visualization tools (Sigma, Looker, Tableau)Compensation & Benefits:At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable. total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.The base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
