We"re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join AWS Services Finance. The position will provide strategic financial leadership for AWS Service and support a fast-scaling organization that solve complex problems and drive customer value. You"ll develop financial models and insights that guide investment decisions, optimize resource allocation, and accelerate the path from innovation to impact.

This role combines financial expertise with the opportunity to work on transformative technology. You"ll collaborate with engineering, product, and business leaders to drive smarter decisions about pricing, feature optimization, and strategic investments. Your work will directly influence how Amazon builds and scales systems that will transform industries.

We"re seeking someone with strong analytical capabilities, experience in financial modeling and strategic planning, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity. You should be energized by complex problem-solving, cross-functional influence, and working in an environment that combines startup velocity with Amazon"s global scale.

Key job responsibilities

  • Influence strategic financial decisions including support for new initiatives, private pricing deal structures, and investment prioritization
  • Work cross functionally with internal teams to assess financial implications of new capabilities, features, and service launches
  • Lead deep-dive analyses to identify and quantify opportunities, risks, optimizations, and growth strategies
  • Develop financial models to evaluate trade-offs between different architectures, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches
  • Support controllership activities and planning cycles with focus on P&L management
  • Design and implement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that enable data-driven decision-making

A day in the life

You will partner with Agentic AI team to shape financial strategy and enable faster, more informed decision-making. Your day might include analyzing the unit economics of different AI Features, partnering with Product teams on explaining growth drivers, developing pricing frameworks for new agentic capabilities, or presenting financial insights in business reviews.

Because this is an emerging and rapidly evolving space, you"ll help establish new financial mechanisms and frameworks. You"ll have the opportunity to showcase your work with senior leaders and influence decisions that shape the future of Agentic AI.
