This Department of War enterprise data and analytics program delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable leaders across the Department to make faster, better-informed decisions using trusted data at scale. Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Administrator to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.

In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous improvement-helping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained success.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-visibility, enterprise program at the intersection of data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on project financials to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Implement financial policies and procedures to support project objectives and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines, develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), schedules, Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs), and budgets.
  • Implement Earned Value methodologies and perform related variance analyses to monitor project performance.
  • Prepare written and verbal reports to management regarding cost/schedule variances and project financial status.
  • Support program life-cycle activities such as setup and maintenance, as well as working capital activities like invoicing support for unbilled costs, accruals, on-hold costs, and cost backup.
  • Provide program financial revenue projection and variance support to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Contracts Administrators, senior technical personnel, and other organizations to align financial planning with project goals.
  • Report all contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under the contract.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and host Task Order Kick-Off Meetings to ensure alignment between contractor and Government personnel.
  • Develop and provide Monthly Status Reports (MSR) detailing progress, issues, and financial status.
  • Conduct Quarterly Program Management Reviews (PMRs) to brief on technical accomplishments and project status.
  • Prepare and update a Project Management Plan (PMP) to document support requirements and management approach.
  • Support the Government in performing all auditing and audit reporting to external independent public auditors.
  • Manage travel and purchasing requests to ensure compliance with Government approval processes.
  • Provide transition-in and transition-out support to ensure seamless transitions between contractors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs).
  • Strong understanding of financial policies and procedures in a project environment.
  • Experience with program life-cycle activities, including invoicing support and cost management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as: Project, Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Contracts Administrators, and senior technical personnel.
  • Knowledge of Leidos financial systems such as: CostPoint, Cognos, Fusion, and Insight.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment or with DoD financial systems.
  • Experience with System and Organization Controls (SOC) audits and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Government contracting processes and requirements.

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
