We are actively looking for a Senior Field Technician with inspection experience to join our Baton Rouge, LA office. As part of the I&R (Inspection & Rehab) Group, the Senior Field Technician will lead field activities on projects; oversees inspection execution, ensures data quality, and coordinates field teams and logistics.

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent years of related experience; required
7 to 10 or more years of experience in Field Technician role with responsibilities related to inspection and rehab; required
Advanced inspection capabilities across multiple asset types and environments (including bridge and other land-based structures); required
Ability to work at height (climbing, cat walks, and aerial lift vehicles; required
Advanced certifications relevant to inspection discipline such as SPRAT Level III and ASNT; required
NHI certifications or NBIS qualifications a plus. Previous bridge inspection experience is encouraged but not required
Proven ability to lead field inspections and supervise field teams; required
Experience in managing safety execution, logistics, and inspection quality on projects; required
Availability and willingness to travel overnight; required
Equipment asset management experience; required

Valid driver's license in good standing with the ability to obtain a Class D driver's license
Current First Aid, CPR, AED, and Oxygen Administration certification; preferred
Boater Safety Card; preferred
Selected candidate must consent to and pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug screening

Working conditions:
Field work will be performed outdoors across the State of Louisiana in all seasons. This work may require overtime during field weeks and will be followed by in-office report corrections/submittals of the inspection reports. Travel to other states and countries may be required as necessary.
Physical requirements:
Majority of work is field based, which may necessitate climbing vertical and horizontal structures with the use of proper safety equipment, navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment, and working around traffic. Field work includes exposure to extreme heat, cold or inclement weather. Ability to use standard office equipment.
