Senior Facilities EngineerAbout the RoleThe Senior Facilities Engineer will oversee and conduct preventative maintenance, monitor building operations including HVAC, electrical, BMS, FLS and water purification systems, maintain chilled water and HVAC equipment, and work under the direction of the Manager, Facilities Engineering.ResponsibilitiesOversee all building systems and critical facilities equipment and other equipment associated with the building envelope, data center and critical environments including fire/life safety, plumbing, mechanical and electrical equipmentElectrical, mechanical installation, repair and maintenance of equipment and building automation systemsPlumbing installation, repair and maintenance of chilled water systems and general plumbing needs throughout the facilityConduct a routine and ongoing assessment of the building systems operationsPerform tests, rounds and analyze data to assure the proper functioning of critical equipmentPerform preventive maintenance on all building equipmentEnsure efficient operation of all building systemsMaintain proper lighting in all areas of the buildingEnsure compliance with all safety procedures as well as utilization of protective equipmentMaintain open and ongoing communication with leadership, colleagues, contractors and vendorsAssist in updating and/or maintain as-built drawingsRespond quickly to emergency situations (power outages, fire, evacuation, equipment failure etc.) and customer concernsAssist with maintaining inventory control programs/purchase tools, parts and suppliesEnsure compliance with applicable codes, requisitions, government agencies and ADC directives as relates to building operationsWork EnvironmentEssential duties are completed within the following conditionsWork environments are both inside and outside, in climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled conditionsExposure to wet, extreme temperatures, noise, vibration, mechanical hazards, radiant energy hazards, electrical hazards, explosive hazards and burn hazardsClimbing ladders and scaffolding as required to complete workWorking in a live broadcasting environmentPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to frequently stand and walk for prolonged periodsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to frequently bend, stoop, reach upward and lift objects up to 50 poundsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to frequently use hands; handle or feel and reach with hands and armsThis position is onsite and operates on a rotating 4x10 schedule (four 10-hour shifts per week).
