Handles assignments concerning unusual problems and/or developments.Key AccountabilitiesApplies senior level knowledge and background of engineering principles to natural gas facilities including, but not limited to; large scale amine treating plants, dehydration plants, compressor stations, and preferably processing plants.Develops, coordinates, and directs critical projects and field engineering assignments that are large and/or complexProvide analysis, design, specification and cost estimates for natural gas treating/processing plantsDevelop scope of work, manage bid process and facility design/constructionOptimize existing plants by gathering operational data and working through plant simulationsReview and assess new technology, processes, materials and equipmentFrame engineering/operational problems and propose solutionsMonitor and support engineering related activities as related to field construction projectsMonitor system performance and prepare long and short-term facility plans including costsMust be able to make sound engineering decisions under limited time constraintsInitiates or performs engineering studies, proposing solutions, or recommending alternativesPrepare written procedures to facilitate construction, maintenance, pipeline integrity assessments and operation of gas transmission and gathering systemsProvide technical support to field on a weekly basisPrepare and present technical reports on projectsContribute to the development of project budgetsConduct studies and analyses to assist in the resolution of engineering-related issues; will assist with developing engineering standards and practicesLeads or plays a key role in Continuous Improvement (CI) training and apply CI tools and methodologies to improve output of job assignments and work processesMentors and provides guidance/direction for less experienced personnelMinimum Education & Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum)6 years of related experienceOther QualificationsPreferredHeavy process modeling experience preferred (ProMax)Experience with sour gas treatingHeavy field-level or direct operations experience preferredOther RequirementsProficiency in computer applications applicable to specific work field/discipline including Excel, Word, Viso and Access database.Ability to interpret blueprints/drawings/schematics and other design documents.Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with people at all levels both within and outside the company.Effective in self-management of time with a demonstrated personal commitment to work.Expert knowledge of design, installation, and commissioning of natural gas treating/processing plants#J-18808-Ljbffr
