Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects valued between $5M-$20M
Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Perform quantity take-offs and develop comprehensive pricing models
Solicit, review, and qualify subcontractor bids and proposals
Identify scope gaps, risks, and coordination issues during preconstruction
Maintain cost databases and detailed Excel tracking models
Support proposal preparation, bid submissions, and client communications
Profile
3-5 years of estimating or preconstruction experience within commercial construction
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Strong understanding of construction documents, scopes, and technical drawings
Proven experience estimating projects across multiple trades
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with construction software platforms (e.g., Procore) preferred
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage subcontractor relationships
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
